Two years ago, my wife returned from Japan where she was visiting family and brought back an amazing spice from a small town near her home.  My son and I used this rare spice in several meat dishes and ended up using it in a Japanese style beef jerky.  After working with many formulas, we now have what we feel is the BEST jerky on the market today.
